For more than 25 years I've built safety-critical, regulated software, most of it for healthcare systems and medical devices. As an R&D executive who stayed hands-on, at startups and Fortune 500 companies including GE Healthcare and Danaher, I shipped more than 20 products and led global engineering teams.

That work taught me to take a risk-based approach: find what could go wrong, match the controls to the stakes, and keep the evidence and a clear owner for every change. I founded Medoya to bring the same discipline to how companies adopt AI, especially AI agents. Low-risk work moves fast, and anything an agent can break or leak gets tighter limits and human review. The result is agents in production, with the controls and audit trail your security review, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 auditor will ask for.

I speak at ISC2 Security Congress and hold the CISSP, CCSP and CDPSE certifications. I'm a strong believer in open source and share what I build through GitHub. I have an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and a BS in Management Information Systems.
